Singapore Polytechnic International (SPI) was pleased to welcome students from Hangzhou Wanxiang Polytechnic (HWP) 杭州万向职业技术学院 to its campus on 25 August 2026 for an educational visit to learn more about SP’s education model, learning environment and technology-enabled facilities.
The visit began with an introduction to Singapore Polytechnic (SP), where the students learnt about the Polytechnic’s education model and its approach to preparing future-ready graduates.
The students then embarked on a campus tour, beginning at the SP Library, where they explored its learning spaces, collections and technology-enabled facilities that support students across different disciplines.
The group also visited SP’s 5G AIoT Centre, where they were introduced to 5G and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT), as well as applications in areas such as smart facilities, advanced manufacturing, urban solutions and sustainability.
The visit continued at AeroHub, where the students gained an overview of SP’s aerospace training environment and how hands-on learning and industry-relevant facilities help prepare students for engineering and aviation careers.
One student mentioned, “I really enjoyed visiting AeroHub. Seeing the aerospace training environment up close helped me understand how classroom knowledge can be connected to practical, hands-on learning.”
