Fee Structure for Academic Year 2010/2011

APPLICATION FEE
A non-refundable application fee is payable as follows.

FULL-TIME STUDENTS
The course fees are payable in two (2) instalments. The 1st Semester fees are payable before enrolment and the second in the 2nd Semester (1st two weeks).

Note:

i.  All fees and amount listed above are subject to changes.
ii. All fees listed above includes 7% Goods and Services Tax (GST)
except for Students' Union Entrance Fee, FO Packet and Document Handling fees which are not subjected to GST (these items are included in the Other Miscellaneous fees).
iii.  Group Hospitalisation & Surgical Insurance and Document Handling fees, included in miscellaneous fees, are applicable to international students only.
iv. Other Miscellaneous fees are payable once every calendar year.  Annual Administrative fees are payable once every year.
v.   Male students will have to pay an additional amount for a SP Tie.
vi.  Tuition Grant students will have to sign a deed with the Singapore Government.  In return for the benefit of subsidised education, the students will be bonded to work in Singapore for three years upon completion of the course.  Two sureties who are above 21 years old and are of any nationality  are required for executing the deed.   The tuition grant amount is subject to revision by Ministry of Education.
vii.  Tuition Grant students who reject tuition grant or failed to sign the deed with the Singapore Government will have to pay the full fees and GST on the tuition grant amount.

REFUND POLICY

Existing and newly enrolled students intending to withdraw from their course of study must complete a prescribed "Withdrawal Form" and return it to the Student Service Centre as soon as possible. 

Students who have yet completed the enrolment and intend to withdraw from their course must inform Singapore Polytechnic International in writing.

Absence from class does not constitute withdrawal from course.  The student is still considered a student of Singapore Polytechnic and is liable to pay fees until the "Withdrawal Form" is officially submitted to the Student Service Centre.

All property belonging to Singapore Polytechnic must be returned and all outstanding bills must be settled prior to the submission of the Application Form for Withdrawal from Course.

If the withdrawal notification reaches: Refund^
Before the commencement of term in Semester 1 or 2
100% semester 1 or 2 Tuition Fee refund (less Administrative Fee $50.00)

Within the 1st week of Semester 1 or 2
75% semester 1 or 2 Tuition Fee refund.

After the 1st week of Semester 1 or 2 *
No refund


*  Fees are payable for withdrawal after the start of the semester.

^ No refund for Students' Union Entrance & Subscription fees, Freshmen Orientation Packet, Registration fee and Statutory Licence fee.
