Opening a Bank Account

Different banks have different requirements as well as different types of savings and checking accounts. In general, to open a bank account in Singapore, you will require the following documents:

	Passport (original & photocopy)
	Student’s pass or letter of acceptance from your institution
	Student Admissions Card (if available)
	Money

Cash-on-line Automated Teller Machine (ATM) 

Students can withdraw cash from the readily available ATM on campus. 

	On-Campus ATMS:
	DBS / POSB – Food Court 5
	OCBC – Food Court 2
	UOB – Food Court 2
